Chris Potavin

Chris Potavin is a Managing Director at Alliance Residential Company, responsible for oversight and strategic growth of the Acquisition platform in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the U.S.  Based in Philadelphia, Chris’s responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, debt/equity structuring and asset/portfolio management from North Carolina up to Massachusetts. Chris brings over 20 years of experience in real estate, having successfully acquired, financed and managed multifamily transactions in most major markets around the country.

Before joining Alliance in 2025, Chris served as Managing Director at LEM Capital, where he was responsible for multifamily acquisitions and was their Head of Debt Capital Markets. Prior to LEM, Chris held a variety of roles at JPMorgan Investment Management on their Global Real Assets platform on the acquisitions, asset management and debt capital markets teams. Chris has a BS degree from The University of Delaware and an MBA degree from the University of Miami.
