The project represents the first assisted-living development for Alliance in Silicon Valley, and it’s part of an aggressive expansion by the company into this market segment, said Peter Solar, managing director of investments for Alliance Residential in Northern California.
“San Jose has the No. 1 need for senior housing and assisted living care in the country,” Solar told me. ‘So we said, let’s find a site there.'”
